How the double-layer monetization works
Every time a user clicks Get Key, Lunarcord creates two content locker links on top of each other — both you and the user earn ad revenue from the same click.

Layer 2 — Outer locker (user's API key)
Created using the dashboard user's saved AdMaven/Lockr API key. This is what appears in AdMaven as the redirect URL of the outer locker. The user earns from this.

Layer 1 — Inner locker (owner's .env API key)
Created using your OWNER_ADMAVEN_KEY from the .env file. The outer locker redirects here. You (the bot operator) earn from this.

Is Lunarcord really free forever?

Yes. Lunarcord is fully open-source and free. You host it yourself — there are no subscription fees, no usage limits, and no hidden costs. You only pay for the infrastructure you choose to run it on (e.g. a VPS or cloud server).
Do I need AdMaven or Lockr accounts?

Yes — to earn money from the key system, you need at least one publisher account. Both AdMaven and Lockr are free to join. Once you have your API keys, paste them in the dashboard Settings page and you're good to go.
How do both the user and operator earn money?

The double-layer system creates two separate content lockers. The outer locker uses the dashboard user's API key (they earn from their audience). The inner locker uses your .env API key (you earn as the operator). Both earn independently from the same interaction.
Can I run Lunarcord for multiple servers?

Yes. Each Discord user who signs in with OAuth gets their own isolated bot configuration, key pool, and autoposter settings. A single Lunarcord deployment can serve multiple Discord server owners simultaneously.
What is the Turso database?

Turso is a free edge-hosted SQLite database. Lunarcord uses it to persist all settings, keys, analytics and configuration between server restarts. The generous free tier handles millions of records — more than enough for any Discord community.
Is there a limit on keys or autoposter posts?

No limits. Generate and redeem as many keys as you want. Schedule autoposter at any frequency. Keys automatically expire after 1 hour for security and the database handles it all efficiently.
What happens to my data if I stop using Lunarcord?

Since you self-host and own your Turso database, your data is entirely yours. You can export, migrate or delete it at any time. Lunarcord never has access to your database — it's yours completely.
