Lunarcord is a self-hosted, open-source Discord bot management platform. When you use Lunarcord, you deploy and run the software on infrastructure that you control. This Privacy Policy describes what data the software processes and how it is handled — both on your server and by third-party services you choose to integrate.
Because Lunarcord is self-hosted, the operator of any specific Lunarcord instance is the data controller for that deployment. Lunarcord's authors and contributors do not have access to data stored on your self-hosted instance.
When you sign in with Discord, Lunarcord receives the following data from Discord's OAuth2 API and stores it in your Turso database:

No other Discord account data (email, phone, guilds beyond basic info) is requested or stored.
All settings you enter in the dashboard — including your bot token, server ID, API keys, embed configurations, and autoposter settings — are stored exclusively in your own Turso database. This data never passes through Lunarcord's infrastructure.
Important: Your bot token and API keys are sensitive credentials. They are stored encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and in your Turso database. Never share them publicly.
Lunarcord logs the following events in your Turso database to power your analytics dashboard:
This data is used only to display your analytics. It is never shared with or sold to any third party.
Each generated key is stored in your database with: the key string, owner Discord ID, creation timestamp, expiration timestamp, and the Discord ID of the user who redeemed it. This is required to validate, expire and track keys.
Lunarcord integrates with the following services at your discretion. Each is only contacted when you explicitly configure them:

Lunarcord sets a single session cookie to keep you signed in. This cookie:
All data is stored in your own Turso database. You have full control and can delete any data at any time. Lunarcord does not maintain any separate backup or copy of your data. When you stop using Lunarcord, your data remains in your Turso database until you choose to delete it.
Lunarcord implements the following security measures:
Lunarcord is not directed at children under 13. By using Lunarcord, you confirm you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us for assistance with removal.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For material changes, we recommend checking this page periodically.
